Indian telecom service provider Idea Cellular on Tuesday announced the reduction in 3G 4G data prices offering up to 50 percent cut in tariff for night surfing.
The Aditya Birla group company introduced 1GB Night packs at Rs 125 per month. The Indian operator also launched Day and Night twin packs offering savings up to 30 percent. The price for the Day and Night twin pack is Rs 115 for 500 MB (250 MB Day + 250 MB Night) per month and go up to 40 GB (20GB Day + 20GB Night).
The Night packs and Day & Night packs are available to all Idea Cellular subscribers across Idea 3G and 4G circles.
Meanwhile, Reliance Communications has launched DataLoan service for its pre-paid customers on its 3G and 2G networks.
With the DataLoan service, customers with a low pre-paid data balance can simply dial a toll-free number and get an instant DataLoan top up of 60 MB.
“DataLoan would provide greater convenience to our customers, assuring them of uninterrupted data services usage any time of day or night,” said Gurdeep Singh, chief executive, consumer business, Reliance Communications.
