Indian telecom service provider Idea Cellular announced the launch of its latest 3G Wi-Fi dongle for a retail price of Rs 2,999.
The broadband dongle allows 3G data connectivity across up to 10 devices, and does not need to be connected to a laptop or a device for power supply.
The dongle, which has 1500mAh in-built battery, connects up to 10 devices with a download speed of 21.6 Mbps and an upload speed of 11 Mbps.
The device is compatible on 900 MHz and 2100 MHz bands. Idea Cellular will target small office and home office users.
Idea Cellular is offering 6GB 3G data for one month along with the new Wi-Fi dongle.
The Aditya Birla group company has more than 145 million subscribers and 1.75 billion minutes of traffic per day.
