Airtel Platinum 3G coverage reaches 60 towns in Assam

Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel on Thursday announced the launch of its Platinum 3G services – on 900 MHz and 2100 MHz spectrum — in 60 towns across Assam.

Bharti Airtel says its Platinum 3G service on the dual spectrum band will deliver a superior customer experience through faster mobile internet speeds, enhanced indoor coverage and voice clarity for subscribers in Assam.

Airtel is not charging additional tariffs for its Platinum 3G services.

Sameer Anjaria, CEO of Airtel North East and Assam, said: “The roll-out, which is part of Airtel’s Project Leap initiative, underlines our commitment to deliver best-in-class services to our customers in Assam.”
