Airtel launches Platinum 3G network in Agartala

Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel today announced its investment in 3G network in Agartala.

Airtel’s Platinum 3G network in Agartala is part of the Rs 60,000 crore investments earmarked for boosting its telecom networks and enhancing customer experience.

Under the Project Leap initiative, Airtel has started rolling out additional base stations for 2G, 3G and 4G networks across the country.

Sameer Anjaria, CEO, Airtel North East and Assam, said: “In line with our growth strategy for North East and Assam, we will be investing in upgrading our network and providing seamless customer experience across various technologies.”
