Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel announced the launch of double data benefits to pre-paid customers.
The data pack provides additional data benefits at night, effectively doubling the data limits for customers. “With the new packs, customers will be able to save up to 30 percent on recharges, when compared to existing data packs,” said Bharti Airtel.
Bharti Airtel is offering 800MB for Rs 186, 2GB for Rs 296, 4GB for Rs 546, 6GB for Rs 796, 8GB for Rs 956, 10GB for Rs 1,096, 12GB for Rs 1,246, 20GB for Rs 1,846 and 40GB for Rs 3,346.
Currently, the Rs 259 pre-paid data pack offers 1GB of 3G / 4G data with a validity of 28 days. With the new double data pack of Rs 296, customers will get 2GB data (1GB 3G / 4G regular + 1GB night). This doubles the data limit of the pack to 2GB, representing a saving of 30 percent compared to the current pack with the similar benefits.
Ajai Puri, director – Market Operations of Bharti Airtel (India & South Asia) said: “With increasing smartphone penetration and the customer need to stay online round the clock, we are redefining the value proposition with our new double data packs.”
