Aircel to expand 3G network coverage in Bihar

Telecom network operator Aircel will expand its 3G network coverage to 61 new towns in Bihar by December 2015.

Aircel promises maximum 3G speed of up to 7.2 Mbps.

The company does not share specific details on investment for the expansion of its 3G networks.

“By extending our 3G network to 61 new towns across districts in Bihar, Aircel network will prove to be the most reliable data companion of our customers for their smart devices,” said Hitender Kumar, business head – Bihar, Aircel.

Aircel achieved 25 percent growth in 3G users in the last six months. Aircel has 3G spectrum in 13 circles and BWA spectrum in 8 circles.
