Telecom regulator Tata Teleservices has revealed its gross revenue for the December quarter of 2016 indicating a significant drop.
The free voice and data services on 4G network from Reliance Jio Infocomm have impacted the revenue growth of Tata Teleservices (Tata Docomo).

Tata Teleservices, according to data available with TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), achieved gross revenue of Rs 3,218 crore in December quarter of 2016 as compared with Rs 3,636 crore in the previous quarter.
The quarterly gross revenue of Tata Teleservices has dropped to Rs 252 crore (Rs 259 crore) in Andhra Pradesh, Rs 170 crore (Rs 182 crore) in Delhi, Rs 140 crore (Rs 165 crore) in Gujarat and Rs 437 crore (Rs 505 crore) in Karnataka circle.
Tata Teleservices has 4.7 percent share in the Indian telecom market. Tata Teleservices does not have any 4G operations in India. Tata Teleservices has lost 1631032 subscribers in December 2016, according to TRAI.
