Indian telecom operator BSNL could not escape from the onslaught of free voice and data offers from Reliance Jio Infocomm in the December quarter of 2016.
BSNL, the India government-managed mobile service provider, has posted gross revenue of Rs 6,754 crore in December quarter of 2016 as compared with Rs 7,448 crore in the previous quarter of 2016.

BSNL’s gross revenue related information for the December quarter 2016 is available in the website of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
The gross revenue of BSNL was Rs 194 crore (Rs 170 crore) in Karnataka, Rs 177 crore (Rs 177 crore) in Maharashtra, Rs 253 crore (Rs 215 crore) in Andhra Pradesh, Rs 181 crore (Rs 204 crore) in Tamil Nadu, Rs 72 crore (Rs 95 crore) in West Bengal and Rs 114 crore (Rs 95 crore) in Uttar Pradesh West circle, according to TRAI.
BSNL has 8.59 percent share in the Indian wireless market against Bharti Airtel’s 23.58 percent and Reliance Jio Infocomm’s 6.4 percent in December 2016.
