TeleCommunication Systems, a secure mobile communication
technology provider, announced that the company will showcase its technology
solutions at three defense industry events in August.
The month kicks off Aug. 9-11 at The Expeditionary C4 (XC4) Users’
Conference in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The XC4 Users’
Conference will host command, control, communications and computer stakeholders
from across the Marine Corps, government agencies, industry and related
organizations.
The conference is designed to advance the awareness,
development, employment, and support for XC4 capabilities. TCS
representatives will be on hand to discuss the company’s capabilities and
display its Wireless Point-to-Point Link (WPPL), which provides secure
line-of-sight / non-line-of-sight radio frequency communications over
terrestrial microwave radio links at distances extending up to 35 miles.
TCS then heads to Baltimore, Maryland, for the AFCEA Technology Showcase,
part of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Customer and Industry
Forum, Aug. 15-18 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The showcase will feature more than 200 industry
exhibitors alongside 60 DISA exhibits, providing participants with many
opportunities to see the latest in technologies, products and services. TCS
technology displayed at the event will include a SwiftLink Dual Router Kit and
a SwiftCell small deployable cellular station.
TCS will finish up August at LandWarNet 2011, the
largest defense, communications and information technology event in the
Southeast, which will be held Aug. 23-25 at the Tampa Convention Center in
Tampa, Florida.
The theme of this year’s LandWarNet will be
“Transforming Cyber While at War.” Hundreds of technologies and
solutions will be demonstrated at the event, including TCS’ SwiftLink TROPO,
SwiftLink SNAP baseband, SwiftCell Tactical Cellular, and SwiftPoint 360
antenna positioner, all of which enable secure, mission-critical communications
for today’s warfighters.
TCS offers deployable communications solutions and
end-to-end managed services for converged (IP-based) voice, video and data
solutions to organizations requiring seamless, highly secure connectivity
between fixed sites and remote operations.
