Next Generation Telecoms Summit 2012 to be Held in Hong Kong

GDS International has announced that Hong Kong would be
the location for next year’s 2012 Next Generation Telecoms Summit, a hi-tech,
high-level gathering of telecoms executives.

The Next Generation Telecoms Summit series has been
bringing together the world’s leading telecom innovators since 2004. They
gather to network, discuss solutions and share ideas on the deployment of
mobile, broadband and fixed services within a rapidly converging market.

The 2012 NGT Summit for Asia Pacific
will take place on 13th to the 15th of March,” said Spencer Green, chairman of
global business-to-business events company and NGT organizer, GDS International.

“We could not be more excited. The feedback from our
last NGT was incredible. A number of delegates called me personally to
congratulate the team on a job well done – and I know they have excelled even
their high standards this time around,” Spencer added.

The NGT APAC Summit is an event of outstanding quality.
It was much needed as it brought senior executives from all of the region’s
operators together to talk,” said Ashwin Jaiswal, head of IT for Indian
telecoms colossus Reliance Communications.

Attendees in March include Azwan Khan, Group CSO, for
25,000-employee strong Asian telecoms leader Axiata Group; Wilma Cruz, Group
CIO for Indonesia’s mobile giant, Indosat; and Herfini Haryono, CIO / CTO, for
the country’s largest network operator, Telkomsel. Executives from Aircel,
Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Sun Cellular, Telekom Malaysia will
also be attending.
