Vodafone UK expands fiber optic broadband to 22 million premises

Vodafone UK has expanded the nationwide fiber optic offering broadband speeds of up to 76 Mbps in nearly 22 million premises across the UK.

Earlier, its optic fiber service was available to existing Vodafone mobile customers. As per today’s announcement, the high-end broadband is available to both existing and new customers across the UK.

As a special promotion offer, Vodafone is also offering Netflix for one year without any additional cost.

Vodafone UK is utilizing the latest technology to improve broadband customer experience. Boost allows Vodafone customers to supercharge any device connected to their home network. Beam, which uses Beamforming technology, focuses Wi-Fi signal to compatible devices wherever they are in the home.

Guest Wi-Fi allows controlled Wi-Fi access to household guests in one click. Users can control the WPS function of the router from the app in order to ensure easy setting up of compatible devices such as printers, speakers and phone.

Cindy Rose, consumer director at Vodafone UK said: “With the introduction of Vodafone home broadband combined with our ultrafast 4G, Vodafone is now well positioned to satisfy all of our customers’ connectivity needs, both at home and on the go.”
