Glandorf Telephone to use ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 broadband platform

Telecom Lead America: Glandorf Telephone Company will use ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 broadband platform to offer broadband and video service to households in Northwest Ohio.

Glandorf is utilizing the Total Access 5000 to deliver both Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Ultra Broadband services to both residential and business customers.

Glandorf is offering premium services by capitalizing on their extensive existing copper network to double the bandwidth service speed over bonded copper for rural residents who cannot be serviced by the fiber network.

Jason Kleman, IT manager with Glandorf Telephone Company, says ADTRAN’s broadband platform enabled the telecom service provider to provide more reliable and efficient service to customers, increasing customer satisfaction.

Mitch Fleming, regional vice president, sales, ADTRAN Carrier Networks Division, says its products provide the flexibility and simplicity that service providers, like Glandorf Telephone, need to grow their network bandwidth over time and diversify their service offering to meet both residential and business customers’ demand.
