Airtel offers free 100 GB data to buyers of Amazon Fire TV

Airtel network in IndiaTelecom operator Bharti Airtel will offer free 100 GB high speed data to buyers of Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote.

Amazon Fire TV buyers will get free 100 GB high speed data via Airtel Broadband / Airtel 4G Home Wi-Fi to enjoy online content on their TV.

Airtel Broadband – powered by V-Fiber technology — is available to customers in 87 cities and offers high speed broadband with speeds up to 100 Mbps.

Airtel 4G Home Wi-Fi is currently available in Indian states such as Delhi, Mumbai, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Kolkata, Punjab and Maharashtra.

Airtel is offering its 4G services to customers in all 22 circles across India.

Amazon’s Fire TV Stick is a streaming media device that plugs into an HDTV and lets customers to access movies, TV shows, apps and games.

It comes with a quad-core processor and Wi-Fi for better picture quality. Users can search Amazon Video content using voice and offers spoken language support for Indian customers in Hindi and English.

Customers who purchase a Fire TV Stick for Rs 3,999 by May 31, 2017 and subscribe to an annual Prime membership will receive a Rs 499 credit back to their Amazon Pay balance.

Airtel Movies, the OTT app from Airtel, will offer Airtel mobile and broadband customers access to a collection of popular Bollywood movies and premium TV shows.

“We invite customers to experience the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote Fire TV on Airtel and also enjoy thousands of movies with Airtel Movies,” said Raj Pudipeddi, director – Consumer Business & Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel.

While the data offer can be availed by existing and new Airtel home broadband and 4G home Wi-Fi customers, free access to content on Airtel Movies will be available to all Airtel mobile customers as well.

Users can utilize the data quota in buckets of 35 GB per month for three months from the date of activation. Customers of Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote have to launch Airtel Movies and follow a few steps to activate the Airtel offer.
