Panasonic leads in small business telephone market in North America in 2011

Telecom Lead America: Panasonic has achieved the #1
position in the small business telephone market in North America in 2011 in the
2-40 extensions category.

 

According to the T3i Group’s recently released report,
Panasonic is the market leader among manufacturers in the 2-40 extension market
segments as measured by line shipments and share.

 

Panasonic has achieved 26.7 percent market share for the
North American market, a 15.5 point lead over the next closest competitor,
which achieved 11.2 percent market share.

 

Panasonic  is also continuing its leadership
in each quarter throughout 2011 performing as follows: in Q1, Panasonic held
29.6 percent market share, a 19 point lead over the next competitor; in Q2
Panasonic held 25.5 percent market share for a 13.3 point lead; in Q3 Panasonic
held 25 percent market share for a 12.2 percent lead; and in Q4 Panasonic rose
to a 26.6 percent market share, beating out the next closest competitor by 13.5
points.

The company claims that the complete suite of Panasonic
solutions addresses unified business communications, mobile computing, security
and surveillance systems, retail information systems, office productivity
solutions, high definition visual conferencing, projectors, professional
displays and HD and 3D video production.

 

Last year, Panasonic launched its Cloud-based services solution, Panasonic Cloud
Business Phone System for small businesses.
