Comba Telecom bags deal from China Mobile

China Mobile VoLTE
Comba Telecom Systems, a wireless solutions provider, has bagged a deal from China Mobile to supply multi-service fiber optic distributed access system (MDAS) equipment.

17 telecom network vendors competed in the global tender to bag the MDAS contract from China Mobile, the largest telecom operator in the world in terms of subscriber base.

China Mobile is purchasing 15,000 units of 6 types of main access units, 65,000 units of 12 types of multi-service extension units and 318,000 units of 20 types of multi-service remote units.

China Mobile will utilize these products for building its indoor wireless systems in the provinces and municipalities across China.

Comba Telecom said its MDAS supports LTE MIMO and allows for flexibility in network roll outs. It helps shorten the time to complete network construction and speed up the launch of multi-system LTE networks across the country.
