Excitel has emerged as the top-performing ISP in India during this period, achieving the highest Overall Connectivity Score of 74.56, surpassing ACT (73.24), Bharti Airtel (67.23), Reliance Jio (61.99), and BSNL (61.15).
Excitel was also the fastest ISP, recording a Speed Score of 121.44, with a median download speed of 117.21 Mbps, outpacing ACT (88.13 Mbps) and Airtel (75.11 Mbps). Excitel led in median upload speed at 110.96 Mbps and recorded a latency of 13 ms, a report from Ookla said.
Additionally, Excitel had the highest network consistency, with 88.7 percent of its samples meeting or exceeding the 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload threshold.
While ACT provided the best ISP video and gaming experiences with scores of 77.52 and 84.12, respectively, Excitel still performed strongly, securing a Video Score of 75.29 and a Game Score of 83.35, ranking just behind ACT in both categories.
Excitel had the Best Fixed Network among ISPs in India during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence data, with an Overall Connectivity Score of 74.56.
ACT received Overall Connectivity Score of 73.24.
Bharti Airtel received Overall Connectivity Score of 67.23.
Reliance Jio has received Overall Connectivity Score of 61.99.
