Network operations and maintenance teams include fiber technicians, network operations center (NOC) personnel, and customer care professionals responsible for maintaining infrastructure and customer support.

Subburathinam P, Chief Strategy Officer at TeamLease, said that broadband expansion is transforming how people work and interact, with significant job creation across various functions.

The rollout of 5G-based services (air fiber) is underway, promising faster internet speeds and improved coverage.

Investment in BharatNet project will enhance rural connectivity and provide broadband access to underserved regions.

Potential introduction of satellite services to improve access in remote areas, intensifying market competition.
