ZTE LTE wireless router for homes, retail stores and offices launched

Telecom equipment vendor ZTE has launched its new LTE wireless router for homes, retail stores and offices.

The new device called MF253 enables 4G mobile data access and supports data downlink speeds of 100Mbps and 50Mbps for uplink, offering mobile Internet access for up to 32 users simultaneously.

ZTE on Monday said customized versions of MF253 for markets in the Americas, Europe and China ensure comprehensive support for a range of LTE spectrum used in different markets globally, meeting the needs of customers all over the world.

Support for an external antenna will allow the MF253 to be deployed in areas of poor mobile signals. The MF253’s MIMO wireless technology enables 300Mbps data transfers and supports as many as 32 simultaneous users.

The MF253 offers USB ports to help users share data conveniently. When connected to external data storage, the MF253 can be deployed as a network storage center to allow users to access information. ( ZTE supplies 3G Wi-Fi Router to telecom operator du )
