China Telecom gets nod for LTE hybrid network trial in 40 cities

China Telecom today said it received approval to expand the LTE hybrid network trial to reach 40 cities from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC.

The approval is in addition to 16 cities approved in June.

China Telecom will do LTE hybrid network trial in additional 24 cities including Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Changsha, Kunming, Harbin, Changchun, Guiyang, Shenyang, Taiyuan, Hohhot, Yinchuan, Xining, Suzhou, Wuxi, Nantong, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua.
