Airtel starts 4G trial offers on TD-FD LTE tech in Delhi

Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has started 4G LTE trials – on FD and TD technologies — in Delhi NCR.

Airtel’s 4G services in the Delhi National Capital Region are the first in India to leverage an integrated FD and TD network promising better 4G network coverage.

Bharti Airtel customers across Delhi NCR can get a free upgrade to 4G at 3G prices.

“India’s first integrated FD and TD 4G network will offer faster 4G speeds and wider network coverage,” said Sarang Kanade, hub CEO – Delhi NCR and Rajasthan, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel also announced partnerships with Samsung and Flipkart for 4G devices.

Select retail stores of Samsung India will facilitate easy Airtel 4G SIM swap for customers buying 4G smartphones. Airtel 4G double data offers are available for customers of Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 mobile devices.

Samsung has launched its all new Core Prime 4G mobile smartphone in Airtel 4G markets. Samsung will also offer bundled Airtel 4G SIMs alongwith select Samsung 4G handsets in the Indian market.

Flipkart offers Airtel 4G with double the data benefits for customers buying select 4G handsets. Flipkart-exclusive 4G devices including brands like Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo, Asus and Huawei will come bundled with an Airtel 4G SIM.
