Airtel completes 4G spectrum deal with Aircel

Airtel today said the company has completed the 4G spectrum trading deal with Aircel in all 8 telecom circles.

Tamil Nadu (including Chennai), Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Assam, North East, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh are the new telecom circles where Airtel will have a 4G spectrum trading deal with Aircel.

“The proposal to acquire rights to use 20 MHz of spectrum in 2300 Band (BWA) from Aircel has been successfully concluded for Andhra Pradesh circle following the receipt of all necessary approvals and satisfying all the conditions (including conditions stated in the Spectrum Trading Guidelines),” said Airtel.

Earlier, Bharti Airtel completed a similar with deal with Videocon Telecom as well.
