Who are the key team members at FCC to assist Brendan Carr?

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr announced staff appointments to the Office of the Chairman and the FCC, assembling a team with diverse legal and policy expertise to advance agency initiatives.

Scott Delacourt, previously a partner at Wiley Rein LLP, was named Chief of Staff for the FCC, overseeing strategic initiatives and operations.

Greg Watson, with prior experience at the White House OSTP and Capitol Hill, was appointed Chief of Staff for Chairman Carr’s Office.

Arpan Sura, who led spectrum policy efforts at the FCC’s Wireless Bureau, will serve as Senior Counsel for Spectrum and Technology.

Danielle Thumann and Erin Boone, both with extensive experience in telecoms and regulatory law, were appointed Senior Counsel for Wireline, Public Safety, Consumer Protection, Media, and Enforcement, respectively.

Adam Chan will provide national security counsel, drawing on his background with the DOJ, U.S. House, and Columbia Law School.

Legal Advisors Anthony Patrone and Callie Coker bring expertise in spectrum management, universal service, and national security.

Matt Mittelstaedt, previously with Senators JD Vance and Rob Portman, was named Director of Legislative Affairs.

Stephanie Chambless, with congressional and legal experience, was appointed Special Counsel to focus on free speech initiatives.

Drema Johnson, a veteran FCC administrator, will manage Chairman Carr’s scheduling and operations as Confidential Assistant.
