Warid Telecom launches Warid radio station in Pakistan

Telecom Lead Asia: Warid Telecom has launched Warid Radio Station in Pakistan.

Warid Radio Station enables users to access radio and TV directly on their mobile phones, Warid Telecom said on Friday.

This service allows the mobile subscribers to receive live audio feed on their cell phones with the option to browse different Radio and TV channels which include Samaa TV, Dunya News, Urdu 1 and Abtakk for television and FM 100 and FM 106.2 for radio.

In addition, Warid Radio Station also allows its subscribers to browse through the content catalogue at any time, in the language of their choice, be it Urdu or English.

The charges for Warid Prepaid and Glow customers on subscription are Rs 1 + tax/day and IVR Charges on 3030 are Rs 0.20 + tax/minute, and for Warid Postpaid customers the subscription charges are Rs 30 + tax/month and IVR Charges on 3030 are Rs 0.20 + tax/minute.
