Vodafone UK to buy 140 stores from Phones4U

Vodafone UK is set to buy 140 stores from Phones4U.

The strategy is to accelerate Vodafone’s retail expansion program.

As part of the acquisition, approximately 900 former Phones4U employees will join Vodafone UK retail business.

“Subject to court approval, we will start engaging with these employees and begin the rebranding of the stores to Vodafone as soon as possible,” said Vodafone.

The telecom operator did not share financial details.
