Vodafone launches 5 Global Design Stores in Kolkata

Indian telecom service provider Vodafone has launched 5 Global Design Stores in Kolkata.

The new retail stores are in Baghajatin, Barrackpore, Lilua, B T Road and VIP Road.

Vodafone has already launched 8 Vodafone Stores (VS) and 12 Vodafone Mini Stores (VMS) in the last 12 months. Vodafone has more than 165 retail stores.

Vodafone has over the years expanded its network reach to cover 100 percent population of Kolkata.

Anand Sahai, business head – Kolkata and Rest of Bengal Circle, Vodafone India, said: “Our latest retail expansion in Kolkata with the launch of five new Global Design Stores on a single day is led by our customer centricity focus.”

Vodafone has launched more than 160 Vodafone Stores and over 1000 Vodafone mini stores across India in FY14-15.  Today, with over 9800 stores, Vodafone has the largest exclusive retail footprint in telecom in the country.
