Vodafone invests Rs 200 crore in telecom network in Rajasthan

Vodafone India has invested Rs 200 crore in the last fiscal for strengthening the telecom network, retail and distribution in Rajasthan circle.

The Indian telecom service provider has already launched 9 Vodafone Stores (VS) and 50 Vodafone Mini Stores (VMS) in the last 12 months in Rajasthan circle. Vodafone India has more than 670 retail stores in Rajasthan.

In March 2015, Vodafone launched 8 Global Design Retail Stores across Jaipur, Kishangarh, Baswara, Chittorgarh, Ganganagar, Kota and Hanumangarh.

Vodafone network, which covers 90 percent population of Rajasthan, serves 11.1 million customers in Rajasthan.

Amit Bedi, business head – Rajasthan, Vodafone India, said: “Our latest retail expansion in Rajasthan with the launch of ten new Global Design Stores within a single month is led by customer centricity focus.”

Vodafone has launched more than 160 Vodafone Stores and over 1,000 Vodafone mini stores across India in FY 2014-15. Vodafone has more than 9,800 stores in the country.
