Vodafone terminates discussions with Liberty Global

Vodafone
Vodafone Group on Monday said it has dropped its plans to exchange of selected business with Liberty Global.

“Vodafone confirmed that it was in the early stages of discussions with Liberty Global regarding a possible exchange of selected assets between the two companies. Vodafone today announces that discussions with Liberty Global have terminated,” said Vodafone in a statement.

The UK-based telecom giant did not share specific reasons for dropping the plan to tie up with Liberty. According to media reports recently, Vodafone was aiming to buy some business from Liberty.
