Turkcell’s Turkey mobile broadband revenues grew 38 percent to TRY1,437 million. Voice revenues rose 0.3 percent to TRY6,460 million in 2013.

“In 2013, with our vision of widening access to mobile broadband, we added Turkey’s first domestically designed and produced smartphone, the T40, at half the average market price of a smartphone. We believe that the T40 plays a key role in reaching the goals of higher smartphone penetration, equal access to information, contribution to the economy, and the promotion of locally developed software,” said Turkcell CEO.
