Time Warner Cable offers unlimited free calling to India

Time Warner Cable today announced unlimited free calling to India.

India is joining Time Warner Cable’s list of international destinations such as Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, China and Hong Kong.

Time Warner Cable in a statement said that its Unlimited Home Phone National calling plan allows users to make calls to India at no additional charge and are treated the same as long-distance calls anywhere in the U.S.

One third of all international calls from the U.S. are placed to India.

“For one low monthly price, customers of TWC’s Unlimited Home Phone National Plan get free and unlimited calling to any Indian landline or mobile number, anytime of the day or night. Combined with our Phone 2 Go app that offers even more convenience and mobility, there’s simply no better choice for international calling today,” said Jeff Lindsay, GM for Home Phone at TWC.

TWC’s Home Phone National Plan includes features such as Caller ID, Call Waiting, 3-Way Calling, Selective Call Acceptance, Selective Call Blocking, Selective Call Forwarding, Answer Anywhere, Enhanced 911 and many others.
