TeliaSonera issues a 10.5 year Eurobond of EUR 500 million

 

TeliaSonera announced it issued a Eurobond of EUR 500
million in a 10.5 year deal maturing in March 2022, under its existing EUR 10
billion EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note) program. The Re-offer yield was set at
4.134 percent p.a. equivalent to Euro Mid-swaps + 142 bp.

 

We continue to use the Eurobond market for our long-term
corporate funding and we are happy to tap the market at such good terms,” said
Per-Arne Blomquist, executive vice president and CFO, TeliaSonera.

 

The Joint Bookrunners mandated by TeliaSonera for this
transaction were Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and Citi.

 

TeliaSonera

Nokia Siemens Networks recently announced
that it will modernize TeliaSonera Finland’s existing GSM and 3G networks, and
roll out new LTE services.

 

TeliaSonera was the first operator in the world to
commercially launch 4G services. Its customers in the central part of Helsinki
can enjoy super-fast mobile broadband services, thanks to Nokia Siemens Networks‘ 4G LTE radio equipment.
