Telenor to maintain Capex to sales ratio of 16-17% in 2022

Telenor, one of the leading telecom operators, today revealed that it will maintain Capex to sales ratio of 16-17 percent in 2022.
Telenor return on Capital 2021Capex excluding licenses and spectrum fees was NOK 5.86 billion inQ4 and NOK 17.94 billion for the full year 2021.

Telenor’s Capex to sales ratio was 21 percent in the fourth quarter of 2021 and 16 percent in 2021.

Telenor’s Q4 Capex was NOK 1667 million in Norway, NOK 615 million in Sweden, NOK 303 million in Denmark, NOK 683 million in Finland, NOK 1009 million in Thailand, NOK 608 million in Digi Malaysia, NOK 663 million in Grameenphone Bangladesh and NOK 88 million in Pakistan.

“Modernising our operations remains a top priority, and structural initiatives have resulted in NOK 1.2 billion in savings during the year. More importantly, these efforts have enabled us to provide great customer experience and a position to partner with Google and AWS to explore new services beyond connectivity,” said Sigve Brekke, President and CEO of Telenor Group.
