Telenor reshuffles management structure

Telenor CEO Sigve Brekke
Telecom operator Telenor on Thursday announced new organizational structure and executive management team.

Telenor Group will organize its business units into four clusters: Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe, Emerging Asia and Mature Asia. Telenor’s cluster heads, reporting to Sigve Brekke, group president and CEO, will be heading each cluster.

Telenor said the new Services and Operations unit will standardize and consolidate the development and operations of networks, core IT platforms, infrastructure and shared services. The new Products and Customer Interaction unit will focus on improving and scaling customer innovation by working on products, customer journeys and analytics.
