Tata Docomo revenue analysis in last 2 quarters

Tata Docomo in Indian Wireless marketIndian telecom operator Tata Docomo has achieved a drop of 3.79 percent on quarterly and 7.76 percent on annual basis to 58.79 million mobile subscribers in the September quarter of 2016, TRAI data revealed.

For comparison, Bharti Airtel achieved 1.65 percent growth on quarterly basis and 10.47 percent increase on annual basis to 263.74 million subscribers.

Tata Docomo lost 2.32 million subscribers. The net addition by Bharti Airtel was 4.27 million during the quarter.

Tata Docomo has 5.47 percent share in the Indian mobile services providers market.

Tata Docomo has 15.30 million subscribers in rural phone market.

Tata Docomo or Tata Teleservices has 4.88 percent share in the Indian Internet service provider space with 17951292 subscribers.

Tata Teleservices clocked quarterly revenue of Rs 2,531.34 crore in September quarter against Rs 2,620.49 crore in June quarter of 2016, according to TRAI data. Tata Teleservices’ June quarter revenue rose 0.95 percent to Rs 2,620.49 crore.
