Tata DOCOMO reduces broadband data card price to Rs 1,199

Tata DOCOMO, a telecom brand of Tata Teleservices (TTL),
has decided to slash the price of its broadband data card price to Rs 1,199.

The reduction is price of Tata DOCOMO Photon Plus
services is primarily aimed at delighting its customers who want to experience
high speed mobile broadband connectivity, on the go.

Moreover, new customers will get additional advantage of
100 percent cash back offer on select plans. These customers will get a
discount of Rs 100 on their monthly bill amount for the next 12 months making
the device absolutely free.

With Tata DOCOMO Photon Plus available at Rs 1199, I
think customers will now have more power in their hands to make complete use of
high speed internet connectivity. Superior in-built network coverage, no
additional roaming charges across India, mobile broadband technology coverage
across more than 349 Photon Plus cities and industry’s first customer care
dedicated to mobile broadband services under Photon family is something that I
am sure our customers will enjoy and make use of,” said Sunil Tandon, head,
Non-Voice Services at Tata Teleservices.

This price reduction initiative on Tata DOCOMO
Photon Plus comes loaded with additional benefits various plans tailored to cater to the specific needs and requirements of
different customer segments as it brings to
the table a fantastic
combination of an affordable device and 100 percent cash back offer.

Recently, Tata Teleservices announced
its multi-pronged strategy to ensure the company’s future growth in a hyper
competitive market.

The company will have an integrated technology-agnostic
structure to leverage emerging market opportunities. Tata Teleservices will bring both CDMA and GSM
products and services under one common brand-Tata DOCOMO. The Tata Indicom
brand will disappear.

The new strategy enables Tata DOCOMO to move to the CDMA
space, and all Tata Indicom customers shall be migrated to Tata DOCOMO.
