Sprint offers free fifth line

Sprint retail presenceTelecom operator Sprint today announced free fifth line to new customers of its unlimited plan.

Sprint’s Unlimited Freedom plan includes unlimited data, talk, text and HD streaming and 10GB of mobile hotspot data.

The price of Verizon and AT&T unlimited plans are 50 percent more. Sprint’s new offer will ensure savings of $20 per month – totaling $240 in the first year. T-Mobile charges extra for HD and mobile hotspot perks.

Plus, with the capacity of our network, Sprint is best positioned to handle customers’ needs in an unlimited world,” said said Roger Sole, chief marketing officer at Sprint.

Sprint, a telecom operator owned by SoftBank of Japan, will be announcing its financial result soon. Sprint is facing competition from T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T to retain its wireless customers during the price war.
