SK Telecom and Alibaba explore business opportunities

SK Telecom and Alibaba CEOs
SK Telecom CEO Park Jung-ho and Alibaba Group chairman Jack Ma have discussed new business opportunities around AI, 5G and next-generation media.

During the meeting at SK Telecom headquarters in Euljiro, Seoul, on Feb. 8, the two heads of companies shared thoughts on the next-generation ICT sector such as AI and 5G, and agreed to seek future business opportunities in areas including the next-generation media and contents.

The two companies will hold a senior leadership level meeting soon.

Alibaba Group, a multinational e-commerce, retail, Internet, AI and technology group in China, recorded $23 billion revenue in 2016 and has a market value of $472 billion.
