CEO Christel Heydemann said the quarter marked the launch of the “Trust the Future” strategy, highlighting operational execution and sustained growth.

Orange maintained its leadership in fiber with 59.93 million connectable households across Europe, reinforcing its position in high-speed broadband.

Commercial indicators showed steady expansion. Convergent customers rose 1.9 percent to 9.348 million, mobile accesses increased 7.6 percent to 275.482 million, while fixed accesses declined 0.5 percent to 37.928 million. Very high broadband retail accesses grew 12 percent to 16.851 million, Orange said.

France delivered revenue of €4,397 million, up 2.3 percent or €100 million. Retail services excluding PSTN increased 1.1 percent, while wholesale services rose 6 percent, adding €61 million, supported by around €100 million in exceptional fiber cofinancing income.

Orange recorded strong net additions in France with 15,000 new convergent customers, 54,000 fixed broadband customers, and 40,000 mobile users. Fixed broadband and convergence churn reached their lowest levels since Q2 2022, while mobile churn declined by 1.3 points to 10.9 percent. Net Promoter Score exceeded 34 points, giving Orange an 11-point lead over its nearest competitor.

Africa and Middle East revenues increased 12.7 percent, adding €249 million, driven by retail services growth of 13.1 percent. Growth was powered by mobile data rising 19.4 percent, fixed broadband up 14.5 percent, Orange Money increasing 15.7 percent, and B2B services growing 8.7 percent. A total of 11 countries in the region achieved double-digit growth.

Europe reported revenue growth of 2.2 percent, adding €37 million, with retail services up 2.1 percent or €27 million. Convergence revenue rose 6.4 percent or €24 million, while IT and integration services increased 12.2 percent or €15 million, particularly in Belgium and Poland. Net additions included 66,000 mobile customers, 51,000 fiber customers, and 21,000 convergent customers. In Poland, convergent ARPO increased 4.2 percent.

Orange Business revenue declined 2.6 percent or €46 million to €1,753 million due to structural decline in legacy fixed services, though supported by equipment sales and IT integration growth.

TOTEM reported revenue of €177 million, down 0.5 percent or €1 million. Hosting revenue increased 4.7 percent. The total number of sites reached 26,948, with a tenancy ratio of 1.47 tenants per site, up 4 basis points year-on-year, moving toward the 2026 target of 1.5 tenants per site.

The acquisition of MasOrange is progressing, with European Commission approval received in early April 2026. Completion is expected in Q2 2026. MasOrange reported Q1 revenue of €1,869 million, up 1.2 percent, driven by B2B growth and expansion into new business areas.

Orange’s Q1 2026 performance reflects balanced growth across regions, strong fiber expansion, and continued investment discipline, positioning the company for sustained telecom and digital services growth.
