New Zealand’s IGLOO selects Brightstar as its exclusive supply chain provider

By
Telecom Lead Team:
 Brightstar, a specialized wireless
distributor and global services provider, announced that it has been appointed
as the exclusive supply chain provider for IGLOO, New Zealand’s new
pre-pay and on-demand TV provider.

Brightstar NZ will provide a complete end-to-end supply
chain solution for IGLOO’s TV Set Top Boxes, including fulfilment, inventory
and channel management services.

Brightstar‘s
services will help IGLOO to improve the execution of their core business
strategy by managing the customer relationship, increasing customer
satisfaction and optimizing the performance of their supply chains.

“Not only did Brightstar clearly understand and
articulate the solution we needed, they’ve continued to step up with further
innovation at every turn, recommending and designing first class supply chain
systems and services that meet our needs,” said Chaz Savage, GM of
IGLOO NZ.

The company said that it is the only company in New
Zealand offering end-to-end outsourced supply chain services, from
strategic sourcing and inventory management, right through the value chain to
retail channel relationships and execution.

“Brightstar’s comprehensive set of supply chain
services and solutions enables us to anticipate and deliver on all of IGLOO’s
requirements as they enter the NZ market,” said Jamie Cormack,
general manager, Brightstar NZ.

A few months back, Phone
major HTC selected Brightstar to manage its open channels distribution for HTC
in Malaysia.
