The GSMA and Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) have unveiled new details for the inaugural MWC25 Doha, set for 25–26 November 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Marking the first Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in the Middle East, MWC25 Doha is a flagship initiative of Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030 and will spotlight the nation’s ambitious Qatar National Vision 2030.

The two-day event is poised to draw over 200 world-class speakers and 200 exhibitors, with 80 percent of exhibitors from international markets. Attendees from more than 60 countries, including 40 percent at director level or above, will gather for agenda-setting discussions on AI, 5G, fintech, and next-generation digital economies.
Top global technology brands are already confirmed, including Cisco, Dell Technologies, Google Cloud, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Huawei, Microsoft, Nokia, Ooredoo, PwC, Vodafone, ZTE, and Qatar-based innovators such as Meeza.
Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Qatar’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, emphasized that hosting MWC25 Doha highlights the country’s commitment to digital transformation and global technology dialogue.
Vivek Badrinath, Director General of GSMA, said: “Qatar’s strong investment capacity and innovation-friendly policy environment are key drivers for selecting Doha as the venue.”
The event will feature high-impact programs such as the GSMA Ministerial Programme, GSMA Digital Leaders Programme, and the regional debut of 4YFN, MWC’s official startup platform. Additionally, Smart City Expo Doha, a spin-off of the world-renowned Smart City Expo World Congress, will showcase urban transformation and intelligent infrastructure.
Five strategic MoUs were signed with the Communications Regulatory Authority, Qatar University, Media City Qatar, Ooredoo, and Vodafone to support the event.
With themes like AI Nexus, Intelligent Economies, and Connected Industries, MWC25 Doha positions Qatar as a leading hub for technology, innovation, and global collaboration, reinforcing the Middle East as one of the world’s most dynamic digital markets.
