Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has revealed its financial result – ARPU, revenue, subscriber growth, investment, profit, etc – during the first quarter of 2024.
Indosat posted revenue of $873 million (up 15.8 percent).
EBITDA increased 22.1 percent to $411 million.
Indosat’s EBITDA margin improved to 47.0 percent.
Net profit reached $82 million (up 39.4 percent).
Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) for cellular customers rose 13.9 percent to IDR37,500.
Indosat’s customer base increased 2.3 percent to 100.8 million at the end of 1Q24.
Data traffic rose 14.3 percent to 3,858 Petabytes (PB).
Indosat has made investments in enhancing its network infrastructure and increased the number of 4G BTS by 20.8 percent to 184,000 at the end of the quarter.
“We keep improving to enhance network to ensure seamless connectivity and a marvelous experience for customers across Indonesia. We have also doubled down on operational excellence and efficiency, which has enabled us to deliver strong revenue growth,” Vikram Sinha, Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, said.
