Idea launches 21.6 Mbps 3G NetSetter in four key 3G markets in India

Idea Cellular has launched a new version of Idea NetSetter, its superfast 3G dongle, in four largest 3G markets in India.

The new dongle is available in Maharashtra & Goa, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.

Delivering 21.6 Mbps, Idea’s 3G NetSetter is the ideal dongle for the on-the-go data user as its superfast Internet speed allows one to transfer data, stream media, and send SMS messages seamlessly while on the move.

Idea NetSetter is India’s first Microsoft Windows 8 / 8.1 and Windows RT certified device. The solution is compatible with Windows, Linux and MAC Operating Systems as well as backward compatible on EDGE and GPRS.

The Idea NetSetter 21.6 Mbps network supports HSPA plus network enabling download of up to 21.6 Mbps and uploading of 5.76 Mbps. Its micro SD card supports up to 32GB of data storage.

Idea NetSetter delivers plug-and-play experience to users. The dongle ensures user is ready to browse internet the moment dongle is plugged in to the laptop without any additional action. The Web based interface ensures superior customer experience and  faster connection.

The built-in SMS Manager allows users to read, write, reply, forward, and delete text messages, and users can also create and Edit their contacts all this can be stored on SIM card or on laptop.

The Idea NetSetter superfast 3G dongle is priced at Rs. 2,160. Idea users can avail from a range of 3G data packs starting from Rs. 250 for 1GB to Rs. 1250 for 10GB data, and enjoy recently reduced data tariffs, the company said.
