Tom Wheeler of FCC
Federal Communication Commission (FCC) chairman Tom Wheeler has decided to step down, after leading the US telecom regular for more three years.

Tom Wheeler’s decision to resign from FCC follows the election of Donald Trump, who wants the US to review the recent Internet regulations, as the next President of the U.S.

January 20, 2017 will be last day of Tom Wheeler as the chairman of FCC.

“Serving as F.C.C. Chairman during this period of historic technological change has been the greatest honor of my professional life. It has been a privilege to work with my fellow Commissioners to help protect consumers, strengthen public safety and cybersecurity, and ensure fast, fair and open networks for all Americans,” said Chairman Wheeler.
