Ericsson bags managed services deal from Warid Telecom

Warid Telecom, a mobile service provider in Pakistan, today said it extended its managed services contract with Ericsson for another three years.

Enhanced network performance, an optimized user experience, field service efficiency, as well as first line and second line support, will be some of the benefits to Warid Telecom.

Warid launched its LTE services commercially in Pakistan end of last year.

Ericsson recently supported the telecom operator by re-farming of spectrum to ensure better services to its mobile subscribers.

“Our prime focus for 2015 is to further our commitment to excellence. Ericsson is also working to expand our network coverage and capacity for both GSM and LTE services nationwide which will help us achieve our goals,” said Adeel Bajwa, chairman, Warid Telecom.
