Deutsche Telekom network Capex dips 3% to 4.36 bn euros

Deutsche Telekom reported network related Capex of 4.362 billion euros (–2.9 percent) in Q3 2021 vs 4.490 billion euros in Q3 2020.

Deutsche Telekom’s third-quarter revenue increased 2 percent to 26.88 billion euros.

T-Mobile, which accounts for three-fifths of group sales, has gained subscribers following its merger with Sprint and as it rolls out its 5G service.

T-Mobile added 1.3 million customers who pay their bills monthly, lifting its subscriber base to 106.9 million customers. Deutsche Telekom has 52.2 million customers in Germany and 46.4 million in rest of Europe.

Deutsche Telekom owns 48.4 percent of T-Mobile US, within touching distance of majority ownership over the U.S. operations.
