BSNL has announced partnership with Aeris Communications & Vista to develop Internet of Things (IoT) solutions in Indian market.
The partnership aims to deliver IoT solutions and services to enterprises, small businesses and public sector undertakings. BSNL will also target other digital initiatives like Smart City.
The partnership with Aeris is the first step in this direction, said Anupam Srivastava, chairman and MD of BSNL. “In the days to come, we will, through this partnership, translate the potential of IoT for achieving digital growth,” he added.
Srivastava added that IoT, along with the power of mobile, will bring tectonic shift in various fields like education, health, disaster management, utility services, etc., and make it possible to deliver all G2C services to common masses living in the remotest part of the country.
“Our partnership with BSNL is a multi-dimensional one, and I am confident that this relationship will transform the contours of the IoT landscape in the country,” said Rishi Bhatnagar, president, Aeris Communications India.
