Airtel Nigeria introduces 3.75G services to all states

Bharti Airtel’s subsidiary Airtel Nigeria
has rolled out its 3.75 Generation (3G) services across the 36 States in
Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuj.

 

The pan-Nigeria launch of 3.75 services is aimed at
deepening the network’s capacity and quality of Airtel in Nigeria.

 

With the launch, the company is set to enhance its
customers’ experience with high speed mobile broadband and internet access.

 

Airtel has yet again raised the bar in its quest
to delight Nigerians with more innovative and affordable telecoms offerings.
The latest innovation is timely and a direct response to the yearnings of
telecommunications consumers across the globe and especially in Nigeria where
technological advancement is moving with the speed of light in line with global
trends,” said Rajan Swaroop, CEO and managing director of Airtel Nigeria.

 


The operator said that it is the only operator with five different channels for
data bundle activation and our 3.75G capacity is up to 42 megabytes per
seconds.

the most loved brand in the daily lives of Nigerians,” Rajan added.

 

The company has also invested in rural telephony and
introduced a corporate social responsibility programmes that include setting up
of schools that offer free quality education to underprivileged children in
rural communities.

 


Recently, Airtel Nigeria partnered First Bank, one of Nigeria’s financial institutions to
promote mobile financial transactions in form of seamless mobile money
services.
