WebNMS joins hands with Calsoft Labs to boost carrier Ethernet biz

Telecom network vendor WebNMS announced its partnership with Calsoft Labs, a provider of network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN) services for mobile industry.

As a WebNMS partner, Calsoft Labs will offer professional services to customers to leverage WebNMS Symphony, which combines multi-vendor carrier network management solutions, as the unified network management and service orchestration platform for Ethernet services.

Both WebNMS and Calsoft Labs are exhibiting their collaborative solutions at the Carrier Network Virtualization conference on December 9-11, 2014, in Palo Alto.

The partnership between WebNMS and Calsoft Labs will enable global telecom service providers to increase their revenue and reduce costs by delivering virtual services on their existing networks.

Prabhu Ramachandran, director of WebNMS, said: “With Calsoft integrating our Symphony platform with NFV solutions, network providers get unified, multi-vendor network management, flexible service orchestration and a broad choice of virtual appliances.”
