Huawei will supply 2T/slot super core router (NE40E), supporting flexible networking of multiple 100GE ports, 40GE ports, and 10GE ports to provide 2T/slot capacity. Huawei’s super core router will support the True International Gateway to handle the growth in the next 5 to 10 years and reduce costs.

“Traffic on True International Gateway Network is growing as FTTX/LTE broadband services and video services develop, which is why companies such as True are looking to apply new generation core router technology in live networks,” said Gai Gang, president of Huawei Carrier IP Product Line, in a statement.

China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, BT (British Telecom), Telefonica, Vodafone and SingTel are utilizing Huawei IP products and solutions.

Meanwhile, Huawei today announced that global market research group Gartner has recognized the company for the first time as a challenger in the Gartner OSS Magic Quadrant.
