TP-LINK unveils new Powerline Adapter Starter Kit

Telecom Lead America: TP-LINK, a provider of
networking products has announced its new AV200 Mini Powerline Adapter Starter
Kit.


The newly launched kit enables users to create a secure,
high-speed network in the home or office using existing electrical wiring.
The AV200 Mini Powerline Adapter Starter Kit demos a new ultra-compact
design.


“Our new Mini Powerline Adapter Starter Kit turns
your existing electrical wiring into a high speed network with no need for
wires or drilling. Add a practical design, sophisticated Power-Saving Mode and
you have an affordable, networking infrastructure in no time,” said Howard
He, product engineer of TP-LINK USA.


The company said that the power-saving mode on the AV200
Mini Powerline Adapter Starter Kit consumes less power when compared with existing
Powerline adapters. When there is no data transmission or reception occurring
over a certain period of time, the adapters will automatically switch from
their regular “Working” mode to “Power-Saving” mode,
lowering energy consumption by up to 35 percent.


It also comes with a pair button on each adapter so users
can easily set up a hassle-free connection with 128-bit AES encryption for
network security and data protection.


With high-speed data transfer rates of up to 200Mbps on a
line length of up to 300 meters, the Mini Powerline Adapter Starter Kit is a
coveted option for the consumers.


The Kit allows users to enjoy HD video streaming, online
gaming, VolP or any other bandwidth intensive applications from the home or
office. It supports IGMP managed multicast IP transmission, optimizes IPTV
streaming.


The AV200 Mini Powerline Adapter Starter Kit
(TL-PA210KIT) is priced at $54.99 and will be available from end of April 2012.
