Shyam Networks hires Nafis Kazim as COO from Bharti group firm

Telecom Lead India: Shyam Networks, a data communication
and surveillance & security solutions provider, has appointed Nafis Kazim
as its chief operating officer.

 

He joined Shyam Networks from Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Group company, where he worked as its vice president and head B2B.

 

He worked with Beetel for more than 14 years.

 

 

Kazim will look after Shyam Networks’ business in India
and abroad.

 

He will manage business opportunities for its B2B and B2C
segment of operations.

 

The SCM, Product Management, Sales and Marketing team
will report to him.

Kazim has over 27 years of industry experience.

 

In India, Shyam offers design, development, and
manufacturing solutions and products in the security and surveillance domain
including HD cameras and imaging, video analytics, radio backhaul and transmission,
unattended ground sensors (UGS), situation awareness systems, secure GSM, and
wireless internet and intranet for sensitive military deployments.

 

Shyam has expertise in developing customized solutions
for military applications anywhere in the world.

 

BSNL unveils 3G pocket Wi-Fi Router to drive 3G penetration

 

To increase its 3G subscribers, BSNL has roped in Shyam
Networks, a communications solutions provider, to launch WINKNET Mf50 3G pocket
router under a reverse bundling arrangement.

 

The launch is in line with BSNL’s target to increase its
3G subscriber base under NTP 2012. Having 3G networks rolled-out in more than
960 cities across the country, BSNL claims that it is providing 3G services at
one-third rate in comparison with the nearest competitor.
